Vote for Tom
As NZ's biggest muster fan, Tom stretches his legs before taking on the rugged terrain of the Waitaki Valley. Describing himself as 'Not a bad bloke,' you can find Tom out training the dogs, or cooking a big feed for the upper Waitaki Young Farmers meetings... (he gets our stamp of approval!)
If he could have any superpower, it would be to be fluent in any language.... which probably would’ve come in handy when he got lost in Argentina with only 20 words of Spanish! ¡aye no!
We’re looking forward to seeing what Tom brings to the final of FMG Young Farmer of the Year 2022.
Q: What would winning FMG Young Farmer of the Year mean to you?
A. It would probably mean my career would peak at age 23. To me this Contest is the biggest celebration in NZ, of skills and knowledge across all aspects of Agriculture. It’s a very special event to be a part of. The study and learning that comes with contest is extremely valuable and meeting so many people has already been fantastic.
