Why choose pre-approved​

Choosing a pre-approved supplier or repairer is the fastest way to progress your claim. In most cases they can start the job/work immediately (including ordering parts and/or replacing the item), without the need for quotes, assessments and approval. An additional benefit is the quality of their work is guaranteed.

Monitoring and updating your claim

When your claim is lodged, you’ll receive an email confirmation with your claim number and any next steps. If we’ve asked you to provide any supporting information like photos, invoices, quotes or damage reports, these should be uploaded to your claim in FMG Connect.​

If you choose a supplier/vendor who is not pre-approved, or if your claim requires further assessment by FMG,  it may take up to 15 business days to progress your claim due to high claim volumes. We'll  get back to you as soon as possible.

Next steps

Once we have received all the requested information we will determine if your claim is approved. When a claim is approved, we may offer to repair, replace or reimburse depending on the nature of the claim.
