Distractions can occur easily while riding, especially when quad bikes are used for essential tasks like spraying and mustering. A brief lapse in concentration can lead to a collision or, even more critically, a rollover. Given that nearly two thirds of our quad claims are due to accidents, we are keen to help you avoid one on your farm.

Roll-over protection devices are an essential addition to your quad to significantly reduce the risk of harm. So we have one up for grabs (T&Cs below apply). Simply enter below.

Quad roll-over protection device Campaign Terms and Conditions

These terms and conditions set out how a quad roll-over protection device can be won.

The promoter and organiser of the Campaign is FMG.

Eligibility

  1. All entrants must be at least 18 years old.
  2. The Campaign commences on 21 October 2024 and finishes on 24 January 2025.
  3. All FMG’s employees and their immediate families, contractors, and FMG’s associated agencies are ineligible to enter. Immediate family is determined as a spouse, de facto partner, child or stepchild.
  4. The Campaign is open to New Zealand residents only.

Participating in the Campaign

  1. Entry in the Campaign is deemed to be acceptance of these terms and conditions.
  2. To enter the Campaign and go in the draw, you must scan the QR code on the campaign card and tell us your on-farm safety tip via the entry button on the webpage before 5pm 24 January 2025.
  3. Any entry which does not comply with these terms and conditions will be disqualified.
  4. FMG accepts no responsibility for late entries or any event causing disruption to the Campaign.
  5. By participating in the Campaign, you allow FMG to contact you for promotional purposes including, but not limited to, an interview, photographs, and publishing in FMG’s publications.
  6. FMG can cancel the Campaign at any time.

Prize Information

  1. There will be two winners drawn on Monday 27 January 2025 at FMG Wellington office.
  2. Each winner will receive one quad roll-over protection device up to the value of $2,000.
  3. Fitting of the device is not included in the prize.
  4. The winners will be contacted by Wednesday 29 January 2024. If the winners cannot be contacted and the prizes have not been claimed after two (2) business days of the draw, new winners will be drawn.
  5. The prizes cannot be exchanged and are not redeemable for cash.

Storage and Consent

  1. FMG reserves the right to:
    1. store electronically any entries submitted to us.
    2. contact participants for feedback or promotional photos in any of its online (including FMG’s website, Facebook page and email) and print publications.

Other

  1. You agree not to make any commercial or business use of the Campaign to resell or commercially benefit from any part or aspect of the Campaign.
  2. Under the Privacy Act 2020 you have the right to access and correct any information FMG holds about you. Please contact us via the Contact us (fmg.co.nz) page if you wish to do this.
